The Suffolk County Aging and Disability Resource Consortium (ADRC) is a partnership between Boston Senior Home Care, Central Boston Elder Services, Ethos, the Boston Commission on Affairs of the Elderly, and the Boston Center for Independent Living (BCIL).
The intent of the ADRC is to create a single, coordinated system of information and access for anyone seeking long-term services and supports, regardless of age, disability or income. Our goal is to ensure that there is no wrong door when an elder or a person with a disability contacts one of our agencies for assistance or services.
Options Counseling, a program of the ADRC, is a person-centered, individual decision support process that takes into account the consumer’s needs, preferences, values and individual circumstances.
Options Counseling is for:
• Seniors age 60 and over
• Persons with disabilities of any age
• Family members and caregivers
• Individuals facing rehab or nursing facility admission
• Individuals entering or residing in a nursing facility who are not on MassHealth
If you believe that you or a loved one is eligible for this program, or looking for more information, please call Boston ElderINFO at 617-292-6211.
