Boston Senior Home Care recognizes the potential emotional, physical and financial strain of caregiving, as well as its rewards. As such, we want to provide caregivers with as many resources that can help assist them in caring for their loved ones while leading a healthy and happy life as well.
A caregiver is someone who is responsible for the care of someone whose health is impaired by sickness or old age. A Caregiver is always taking care of someone else, bathing, cooking, cleaning, washing, transporting, shopping, scheduling appointments and taking the care recipient to appointments. Attending to all the needs of their loved on e – parent, child, spouse, aunt, uncle, cousin, niece, nephew and/or friend; many times unpaid, sometimes never thanked.
Who reaches out to the Caregiver and asks would you like a break? Would you like a break to go and get a massage, go to the theater to watch a movie, read a book, or just get some sleep? Sometimes it can be hard to navigate who is there to offer caregivers support and at BSHC, we want to help however we can! We offer our own program, Family Caregiver Support Program.
